Notice of Public Hearing on the FY 2027 Proposed Budget
The City Council of the City of Hudson will hold a hearing for citizen input on the proposed
budget for the operations of the City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2026 and
ending on September 30,2027 on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. in the City
Council Chambers, City Hall Building, 3458 Ted Trout Drive, Lufkin, Texas.
This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than
last year’s budget by an amount of $382, which is a 0.06
percent increase from last year’s budget. The property tax
revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll
this year is $14,744.
A copy of the proposed budget is available for public review in the administrative o????ices of
the City of Hudon or on the City website at www.hudsontx.com All interested parties are
encouraged to attend.
